Partner, Lawyer and Legal consultant

Eleonora Cangemi

I am a lawyer and partner at Wi Legal. I assist clients with their corporate restructurings and reorganisation processes, as well as providing advice on all aspects of employment and trade union law, including managing (individual and collective) disputes. My studies (including a Master’s degree in Law & Economics and taking part in the Negotiation Program held by Harvard Law School) alongside my professional and personal experiences have given me the chance to work and live internationally, particularly within the English-speaking world. Those experiences taught me the importance of being aware and of genuinely listening. My focus in my work for clients is on really tuning in to what their situation is and not missing the smaller details.

What do you like about the work you do?

I like to relate to people. I listen, try to understand the individual before me and what it is they effectively require of their lawyer. The moment you understand the needs of the person you are dealing with, you start laying the foundations for building a solid relationship with a mutual level of understanding.

What do you like about the work you do?

A solution can always be found.

Trust and respect. The trust and respect of the people I work with and relate to every day. The desire to be there and to create a positive team but feeling supported by them at the same time.

First of all we have to be good people.
