Partner and Lawyer

Andrea Mordà

I am a partner at WI LEGAL and I am specialised in employment law, in particular in the telecommunications, commercial distribution, public services, credit and finance sectors. I started my career at the end of the 1980s, with a small but well-known employment law firm where I became a partner in 1997. In 2001 I moved to an international firm, where I was in charge of the Employment department as a partner. In 2010, I began a new experience as a partner in one of the most important employment law firms in Italy. Then in 2021 I embarked on a new adventure at WI LEGAL.

What do you like about the work you do?

I decided to study law because I wanted to become a judge but after just a short time practising law I started to understand my passion for the profession, which allows me to be in constant contact with the economy and the working world of people, companies and the country. You can see for yourself how the law directly affects reality, not only regulating it but sometimes modifying and adapting it.

What do you like about the work you do?

You never stop learning!

Communicating and taking decisions. The ability to communicate starts with knowing how to listen and to understand. In our profession it is crucial to speak and write clearly, to be sincere, to have the ability to make unambiguous decisions. You have to know how to define a strategy and how to change it when necessary.

You go to a lawyer to solve a problem, not to have one more.
